partytravel1Imagine that you could just drop all of the priorities and responsibilities in your life right now. Where would you most like to jet off to on holiday? Would you be trekking through the lush green forests of the lofty Mt Kilimanjaro? Would you be lounging peacefully on the soft white sandy shores of Hawaii? Or would you be striking your best moves on the dance floor in Ibiza?

For all those who chose option number three and are actually planning for an overseas adventure, this is most definitely the right blog post for you. It can be overwhelming trying to choose the right party destination for your next big holiday, but here at comparethemarket.com.au, we’ve singled out five lively and vibrant cities you will definitely not regret visiting. Just don’t forget to pack all your best party clothes and bring your friends along for the ride!

Rio De Janeiro, Brazil

Partying in Rio De Janeiro, or plain old Rio as the locals like to call it, is a unique and culturally-enriching experience in and of itself. You won’t just be bobbing your head about to the music, that’s for sure – instead, you’ll be learning to perform the samba just like the pros do! When it comes to a city like Rio, all sights and sounds are inviting and intoxicating, and the nightlife is no exception. Marvel at the stunningly sensual Carnival dancers at Carioca establishments in Copacabana and Ipanema, lose yourself to the rhythm of pumping music from popular clubs such as 00 (Zero Zero) and Fosfobox, and enjoy the vibrant and eclectic mix of fellow club-goers whilst relaxing in Rio’s characteristic ‘botequims’ (small bars).

Ibiza, Spain

partytravel2You might be feeling intimidated by Ibiza’s world-famous clubbing scene, but there’s no reason to be shy! Jumping right in and sorting out all your favourite hotspots is the best way to make the most of Ibiza’s legendary nightlife. Amnesia and Privilege are two of the region’s favourite clubs, both renowned for their spectacular interior aesthetics and, of course, for their raging house, dubstep and trance tunes. Ibiza’s oldest and most prestigious club, Pacha, is known as the ‘playground of the rich and famous’ and blasts underground and mainstream dance music well into the wee hours of the morning. Meanwhile, Booom!, which is located very close to Pacha, is a relative newcomer on the Ibiza clubbing scene but is already proving very popular with its attendants. No matter what kind of party vibe and bold beats you’re in the mood for, you’ll doubtless find something to pique your fancy in Ibiza.

Saint-Tropez, France

If there’s one locale that can make you feel like you’re standing at the centre of the world, it’s definitely Saint-Tropez. You’ll be partying with the cream of the crop, the best and brightest of France’s classy club scene. Les Caves du Roy, for example, is frighteningly pricey but apparently well worth the expense; you’ll be rubbing shoulders with models, actors and actors such as George Clooney and Beyoncé. Papagayo is another Saint-Tropez favourite, famous for to its unusual party schedule, where drinks and dancing begin at 12pm, dinner isn’t served until 1am (you read that right!), and the wild and illicit activities really kick up a notch thereafter. If you’re after a more relaxed night of dancing, replete with cocktails and canapés of course, head to Octave Café, Chez Maggy, or Bar du Port.

South Beach, Florida

partytravel3It’s not an exaggeration to say that party-loving visitors to South Beach are utterly spoiled for choice when it comes to trendy bars and nightclubs. Start the night off with sophisticated drinks at the ever popular DiLido Beach Club, with its delectable Mediterranean treats and tropical cocktails, or perhaps at the classy La Piaggia Beach Club, where you can lounge by the pool with a bottle of deliciously chilled wine at your disposal. Then, get the big night rolling by popping into LIV at the Fountainebleau Resort, an amazing club which features outrageously glamorous Las Vegas-inspired décor. Mynt Lounge, a smaller and stylish futuristic-themed bar, plays the liveliest tunes and is always populated with gorgeously-dressed men and women. Meanwhile, the WALL and WET Lounge at the W Hotel South Beach has the best of both worlds: an amazing outdoor poolside bar and an exciting, electric indoor dance club to keep you moving all night long!

Party It Up!

With so many fantastic party destinations awaiting, there’s no time to lose! Gather your best mates together, pack your bags, and get ready for an amazing holiday. Just don’t forget to grab travel insurance while you’re on the go – it’s always better to be safe than sorry when you’re dancing the night away!
