How does our credit card comparison work?

How do we make money?

We don’t charge consumers anything to use our comparison service. Instead, we receive a commission from our credit card partners each time one of our customers is referred to one of our website partners, makes an application, or has an application approved (depending on the arrangement that we have with the relevant credit provider). More details about our fees can be found in our Credit Guide.

We pride ourselves on the integrity of our comparison service so it is critically important to us that the way we make money doesn’t affect the comparison or presentation of products from our partners.

How does credit card comparison service work?

Choosing a credit card provider is often difficult and time consuming. Our comparison service aims to make that process easier and faster.

When you compare credit card providers on our website and decide to make an application with one of them, you will be taken to that provider’s website to make your application.

We do not promote any particular provider’s cards over others to ensure you get a fair comparison. The results displayed on our site are based off the offer strength of each card using the information displayed and the filters applied. This helps us give our customers the best offer available from our panel of providers.

We are working hard to welcome on board brands that are not currently part of our comparison service and we hope to have good news on that front for our customers in the future.

Although we cover a range of providers we don’t cover every provider or service available in the market so there may be other options available to you.  At times, not all brands on our website may be available.
