Although ReadySet Travel Insurance only hit the market in 2025, it’s backed by decades of experience at 360 Underwriting Solutions (a cover holder at Lloyds). This means it sits upon the global strength of Lloyds itself, a company trusted worldwide for more than 330 years.
Whether you’re looking for domestic, international, multi-trip, ski or cruise insurance cover, ReadySet Travel Insurance covers it all and offers 24/7 global emergency assistance.
The mission at ReadySet Travel Insurance is to build and offer policies built on care, clarity, and putting customers first. So whether you’re exploring Australia or heading overseas, ReadySet Travel Insurance can help you embark on your journey with confidence every step of the way.
If you’re planning on travelling around Australia, a domestic policy is what you’d look for.
With ReadySet Travel Insurance, your level of cover falls under the Ultimate (Domestic) policy, which includes loss of baggage and personal affects up to $15,000, personal liability cover up to $5 million, and unlimited cover for cancellations or disruptions to your journey.
Unlike many other policies that require you to add rental vehicle cover, the ReadySet Travel Insurance domestic policy includes rental vehicle insurance excess up to $5,000 – with an option to purchase and extend rental vehicle excess cover to $8000.
It’s important to note that since you are covered by Medicare while in Australia, the domestic travel insurance policy does not include medical benefits.
With four cover levels to choose from, ReadySet Travel Insurance has plenty of options for those heading overseas. All policy levels include overseas emergency medical assistance, cover for baggage and personal affects, personal liability cover and a $5,000 rental vehicle insurance excess – with an option to purchase and extend rental vehicle excess cover to $8000.
Depending on your policy level, you may also be covered for additional accommodation and travel experiences, cancellations and disruptions, income loss and credit card fraud.
If you plan on travelling more than once throughout the year, an annual multi-trip travel insurance policy may be worth considering.
With ReadySet Travel Insurance, you can be flexible with your trip duration. For each trip you take within the 12-month policy period you can choose the maximum number of days you want to be covered for, whether that’s 30 or 45 days.
If you intend to partake in additional activities that aren’t included in the standard policy such as winter sports like skiing or snowboarding, or if you’re heading off on a cruise, you can add these to your policy for an additional cost. If you do not purchase these options and participate in winter sports or go on a cruise, you will have limited cover under the policy. See the Product Disclosure Statement for more details.
ReadySet Travel Insurance offers a range of policies and coverage options, meaning you should be able to find a policy that suits you and your travel plans.
